We are working with an established New York residential property company seeking a personable and professional Residential Concierge to join the front-of-house team at a residential building in New York City.
The Residential Concierge will be one of the first points of contact for residents, guests and visitors, helping to create a welcoming, well-organized and service-led environment.
This role would suit someone with strong people skills, a professional manner and a genuine interest in delivering excellent resident service.
Welcome residents, guests and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintain a visible and attentive presence within the lobby and front desk area.
Assist residents with general enquiries and day-to-day requests.
Manage visitor access in line with building procedures.
Receive, log and coordinate packages, deliveries and collections.
Communicate with residents regarding deliveries, visitors and building updates.
Assist with transportation requests, reservations and local information where required.
Support resident move-ins, move-outs and scheduled deliveries.
Monitor the presentation and organization of the lobby and resident-facing areas.
Liaise with building management, maintenance and security teams when issues arise.
Record resident requests and ensure matters are passed to the appropriate team for resolution.
Support amenity bookings and resident services where applicable.
Follow building security, access and emergency procedures.
Maintain accurate front desk records, logs and shift handover notes.
Handle resident information and sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
Provide consistently high levels of service throughout each shift.
Previous experience in concierge, hospitality, customer service or a resident-facing position preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build positive relationships.

Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and helpful when dealing with resident concerns or unexpected situations.
Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a wider building team.

Comfortable using basic computer systems, email and front desk software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays depending on building requirements.
Previous experience within a residential or luxury environment is advantageous but not essential.
